Qatar\u2019s Ministry of Labour has announced the Eid Al-Fitr holiday schedule for private sector employees across the country, confirming that workers in private establishments will receive a three-day paid holiday to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the ministry said the holiday will begin on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr and will continue for three consecutive days for employees working in the private sector. The break applies to all private companies and institutions operating in Qatar.<\/p>\n
The ministry also noted that if operational requirements require employees to work during the holiday period, employers must comply with the provisions outlined in Qatar\u2019s Labour Law.<\/p>\n
In such cases, the regulations governing overtime hours and related allowances, as stated in Article 74 of the Labour Law, will apply.<\/p>\n
The announcement comes as part of preparations for the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, one of the most important religious occasions observed by Muslims worldwide, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n
