
Popular media personality Fredley John Baptiste has been arrested in Miramar, Florida.
Early reports from June 2nd, 2025 confirm that the Haitian-American content creator was taken into custody for physical assault, reportedly linked to a domestic violence incident.
Fredley was not taken into custody by ICE, unlike what certain internet rumors claim. Social media footage makes it quite evident that local Miramar police, not federal immigration officials, made the arrest.

Fredley is a well-known Haitian YouTuber and radio broadcaster who is praised for founding the popular Haitian music, culture, and lifestyle platforms La Caillou and Aayiti Aalite.
He has more than 225,000 Facebook followers and more than 137,000 YouTube subscribers, making him a significant voice in the Haitian diaspora.
In addition to working with well-known Haitian artists like Geralt Pedre and Tony Mix, Fredley is connected to Rev Cinema, a 68-seat movie theater in Haiti that was established to support the indigenous film industry there.

He also ventured into music in 2020, putting out the tune “Jingle” on Apple Music and Spotify.
The date of Fredley’s court appearance at the time of this video is June 3, 2025. The whole charges and circumstances surrounding the arrest have not yet been made public by the authorities.
