Welcome back to Unfiltered Truths. In the early hours of Saturday, May 31st, 2025, a serious incident occurred on Deontford Street in Leicester City Center.
At around 12:30 a.m., a car struck four pedestrians following reports of a disturbance at the same location earlier that night.
The victims, two men and two women, were all taken to the hospital. Three of them suffered serious injuries, while one man sustained only minor injuries.
According to the most recent information, all four are still in the hospital and are undergoing continuous care.
Later, the car thought to have been engaged in the incident was found on Margaret Street, which is nearby. As forensic investigators started looking through the car for evidence, this speedy retrieval was essential to the inquiry.
A 31-year-old Leicester man has been taken into custody by police in relation to the incident. He is presently being held and questioned on suspicion of causing serious injury by reckless driving and grievous bodily harm with intent.

Before the incident, authorities think the suspect and the victims were at a private celebration in the vicinity.
The entire series of events leading up to the incident is currently being investigated by investigators. As police continue their forensic investigation and interview any witnesses, a sizable portion of Deontford Street has been blocked off.
In order to avoid impeding the investigation, officers are warning the public not to make assumptions about the case on social media. Additionally, they have called for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it to come forward. Additionally, CCTV footage from the neighboring locations is being examined.
According to Detective Inspector Jenny Tatisol, the police are making every effort to determine the truth about the occurrence and are aware of the anxiety it has created.
