Known to many as “Coach,” and to others as “Monster,” Bradley Jennings passed away at the age of 47. A proud Miami native, a Florida State Seminole, a leader, a father figure, and a true Duval legend.
From 1997 to 2001, Jennings suited up for Florida State, recording 339 tackles, four fumble recoveries, and three interceptions. He led the Seminoles in tackles during his senior year. He was fierce, intelligent, and respected. But his real legacy wasn’t just on the field—it was in the lives of the young men he mentored, coached, and believed in.
“You made us men and transformed our lives.”
“To those without a father figure, you served as a role model.”
Coach Jennings established the bar for what it meant to be a football father while he was a coach in Jacksonville. He raised strong, resilient young men in addition to D1 athletes by giving his time, love, and expertise. As evidence of the quality he fostered in his family and community, his own daughter excelled in track and field.
Despite life’s attempts to break him, he was a proud father, a devoted husband to Carmen Dulsa Marie, and a man who always gave back. Bradley “Monster” Jennings was a baller and a good brother who passed away too soon.
You’ll live forever in our hearts and souls. Everything this man produced was D1. He may not have made the NFL, but he built a legacy far greater than stats or trophies. Bradley Jennings, your impact will echo in locker rooms, on fields, and in hearts for generations to come.
Rest up, Coach. Your light shines on.
