In the ninth minute of the 2024–25 Conference League final, Betis scored the first goal, bringing them one step closer to European glory. The team led by Manuel Pellegrini ended the match against Chelsea. Abd Ezali’s goal gave the Chilean coach’s team the lead. The Moroccan-turned-Spanish player fired a left-footed cross from the middle of the field, just missing goaltender Philip Jurgensson’s left post.

The first-ever European final for the Spanish team is being held in the Municipal Stadium in Rokav, Poland. It has progressed toward the most important title in its 117-year history. If Real Betis is crowned the new UEFA Conference League champion, they will be rewarded with a whopping €7 million.
